Foothills leaves drop late and drop heavy: oak, maple, sweetgum, hickory all coming down in November. We do leaf cleanup the right way: full-yard blowing, not just the front; haul-away or tarp-haul; bed cleanout included.
01 · What's included
Two visits, end-of-season package.
A single November cleanup misses the late-droppers. Our standard is two visits, the first in the first few weeks of November and the second in the first few weeks of December, for one flat fee.
- Full-yard backpack & wheeled blow: front, back, sides, beds
- Beds cleared & mulch lightly fluffed (not stripped)
- Driveway, walkways, porch, patio blown clean
- Hauled offsite or vacuumed to curb (your choice; some HOAs take leaves at the curb)
- Gutters cleared if you add it on (most affordable when we're already on site)
- Final walk-through & photos so you can see it from out of town
- Two-visit package: first pass in November, second in December
Everything on that list is in the base price. Gutters are the one add-on, priced separately.
02 · When to book
First pass in November, second in December. Clean for Christmas.
Most properties around here finish dropping leaves between November 5th and December 5th, depending on tree species and weather. The first visit runs in the first few weeks of November and the second in the first few weeks of December. That timing catches both the early maples and the stubborn red oaks, and it gets everything cleaned up in time for the family visiting for Christmas.
Routes are filling now, so the move is to get a quote on the books before the leaves start. We'll schedule your visits for the right window. Reach out late and we'll still do our best to fit you in, just know that the longer leaves sit wet on the lawn, the more damage they do.
We do not charge by the bag. Anyone charging by the bag is incentivized to take their time. We charge by the property, flat-fee, both visits included.
03 · Local rules
Every town in Blount County has different leaf rules.
Maryville vacuums loose leaves on a zone schedule. Alcoa makes you bag them. The unincorporated county gives you no pickup at all, and burning takes a state permit. We wrote the full guide so you don't have to call three offices.
Maryville
City crews vacuum loose leaves starting October 15, one pass per zone about every month. Leaves go in the front lawn near the curb, never in the street or a ditch.
Alcoa
No vacuum program. Leaves must be bagged and at the curb by 6:30 a.m. during bulky-waste weeks, the second and fourth weeks of each month.
Blount County
No pickup outside the cities. Haul them, compost them, or burn them with a free state permit, required October 15 through May 15.

- How much does leaf removal cost in East Tennessee?
- Our two-visit package runs $300 to $600 for most residential yards. The number depends on lot size, tree count, and whether we haul the leaves or vacuum them at the curb. It is a flat fee for the season, both visits included, quoted before we start.
- Do you haul the leaves away?
- Yes. We haul off site, or we can pile at the curb if your city or HOA collects there. Either way the yard, beds, driveway, and walkways are blown clean before we leave.
- When should I book leaf cleanup?
- Now. Routes are filling and the first visits start in early November. Your quote locks the day it is given, so booking early costs you nothing.
- Can you clean my gutters at the same time?
- Yes, as an add-on. We price it by how hard the gutters are to reach and how much is sitting in them. This is a fall cleanout of leaves and needles, not a full gutter cleaning for a drainage problem. It is the cheapest time to do it, because we are already on site with the equipment out.
- How do you quote leaf removal?
- Most yards we quote from a drive-by. Send your address and we come look at the property on our own time, so there is no appointment to schedule and no need for you to be there. If the property is complicated, we will walk it first and tell you before we do.
- Do I need to be home for a quote or for the cleanup?
- Usually not. Send your address and we'll get you a number, and we'll tell you if we need to see the yard first. You don't need to be home for the cleanup itself, and the final walk-through photos show you the finished yard.
