About Lawngevity
Lawngevity is a family-run lawn & landscape business out of Blount County, Tennessee. A family crew and a stubborn opinion about doing right by the people whose yards we work.

Our story
It started, like a lot of things in the foothills, with a mower and a phone.
A family, a few neighborhoods in Maryville and Alcoa, and the kind of work ethic that means showing up when you said you would. Founded in 2017, we've kept the doors open the right way, the slow way, by doing one yard well and then the next. These days Dad helps run operations, and a younger brother and an uncle pitch in when the work calls for it.
What's changed isn't the standard. It's the scope. Today we run weekly lawn care across Blount County and take on bigger project work (drainage, irrigation, hardscapes, landscape installs) across Blount, Knox and Loudon. We can usually get a project on the books faster than the bigger crews, without the assembly-line treatment that comes with size.
The first half of that line is the personal attention. People who know your name, your yard, every visit. We answer the phone. We remember which side of the house has the gas line. If you've got an opinion about your hostas, we want to hear it.
The second half is the scope. Most outfits this size do one thing: mow, or maybe mow plus mulch. We do the work most of those guys can't sell you, because they don't do it: French drains that actually move water. Retaining walls that don't lean in five years. Irrigation systems we'll come back and service when something breaks. The hard stuff. Done right the first time.
What we believe
These aren't tag-lines on a truck wrap. They're the things we actually argue about when we're putting together a quote, scheduling a week, or deciding whether to come back out for something a customer didn't even notice. If we're going to charge real money, we're going to do real work.
No. 01 · Integrity
The price you're quoted is the price on the invoice. We don't pad estimates with "discoveries" or charge for our own mistakes. If something's not right when we leave, it's still on us, and we make it right that week. That's the bar.
No. 02 · Personal attention
We answer the phone. We remember your name, your dog, and that the back gate sticks. You deal with people you can actually talk to, who know your yard. You get the office line on a Saturday. The whole point of staying our size is that we get to work this way.
No. 03 · Range
Lawn care every Tuesday, drainage in October, hardscape in spring, irrigation tune-up before the heat hits with one phone number for all of it. Bundle the house, the business, the in-laws' place. We can usually get on the books faster than the guys with the bigger trucks.
No. 04 · Real work for fair money
The most common thing we hear: "the last guy did a bad job for cheap. Can you do a good job for the same price?" Honest answer: probably not, and here's exactly why. We'd rather lose a quote than under-promise a result. When we say it'll hold up, we mean it.
Colin and his crew did an amazing job making our new house truly feel like home… I can't recommend Lawngevity enough if you're looking for a team you can trust with your yard.
